![]() Terms & ConditionsAt i-Script™ Inc., the confidentiality of our customers' data is a fundamental concern, and thus we have taken a number of technological and administrative steps within the Scriptase™ application in order to protect such data. The Scriptase™ system has a number of security mechanisms designed to permit only the authorized client personnel and the appropriate i-Script™ Inc. personnel to have access to the data passing through our systems. i-Script™ Inc. aggressively enforces this and other security measures applicable to confidential data. Confidentiality obligations are also an integral part of our business and trading partner agreements to which we send or receive privileged patient information.
i-Script™ Inc. will neither pursue nor knowingly retain a customer relationship with an entity that is either unwilling or unable to comply with reasonable privacy and confidentiality obligations.
i-Script™ Inc. recognizes that the transfer of medical data must be carried out in a manner that minimizes the risks of inappropriate disclosure and that safeguards the privacy and confidentiality of data that may identify individuals in their roles as patients and consumers. Our corporate policy is to observe all existing state and federal laws and regulations relating to the transmission, storage, and access to records and other health care data, and to maintain the security and confidentiality of patient-specific information. Therefore, i-Script™ Inc. has taken steps to comply with the relevant HIPAA regulations in advance of the mandatory compliance dates contained therein.
Our administrative, technical and physical safeguards are designed to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of our customers' data. These safeguards, discussed above as required by HIPAA, as well as all i-Script™ Inc. corporate policies, are continually being reviewed and updated as part of our ongoing effort to protect the confidentiality of our customers' data, to comply with applicable law and remain a leader in the Medical Transcription Services and Technology industries. Terms & Conditions Username Restrictions Each Registered user will be required to use a unique Username and password combination, in order to obtain access to the Scriptase™ Web Site. This states that the "Customer" agrees that it will not permit any person to use the Scriptase™ Username and password, other than the person to whom such Scriptase™ Username and password has been assigned, nor may any Registered Provider or Authorized Provider Designee authorize or knowingly permit his or her assigned Scriptase™ Username and Password to be used by another person. Customer will not permit use of the Scriptase™ Restricted Web Site by any persons other than Registered Providers and Authorized Provider Designees.
General Usage Restrictions Customer will not (i) copy or duplicate any portion or component of the Scriptase™ Restricted Web Site.; (ii) attempt to access or obtain any records provided by our other customers or otherwise attempt to obtain unauthorized access to any portion or content of the Scriptase™ Restricted Web Site; (iii) decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to obtain or perceive the source code from which any software component of the Scriptase™ Restricted Web Site is compiled or interpreted. (iv) assign, sublicense, sell, resell, lease, rent or otherwise transfer or convey, or pledge as security or otherwise encumber; or (v) use or make available, in the manner of a service bureau, time-sharing arrangement or otherwise, the Automated Transcription Services for the use and benefit of any third parties other than Registered Providers or Authorized Provider Designees; or (vi) hold i-Script Inc. or any partner of i-Script Inc. liable for any misappropriation, improper dissemination, or transfer of patient information caused due to the improper usage of the Scriptase™ Restricted Web Site; Customer will ensure that its use of the Scriptase™ Restricted Web Site complies with all applicable laws, statutes, regulations or rules promulgated by governing authorities having jurisdiction over the Parties, the Scriptase™ Restricted Web Site, including, without limitation, any applicable provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and/or 45 CFR Parts 160 and 164. |
