Toll-Free Dictation Lines
Individual Access Codes for our Toll-free Dictation lines are provided to each of your dictating personnel. The dictation phone lines feature functionality similar to a voice recorder. A confirmation number(for tracking purposes) is provided after each successful recording.
There are no additional charges for the Toll-free Dictation Lines.
Digital Voice Recorders and other devices
We support all major audio formats used by Digital Voice Recorders and other devices such as PDAs, Tablet PCs, etc.
You can transfer such audio to us using your Scriptase account. Audio thus received is transcribed and the Documents made available in your account within the configured turnaround time (12-24 hrs, 8 hrs or 4 hrs)

Scriptase™ Document Manager
All documents are delivered to your Scriptase™ online account in the form of MS Word Documents.
Scriptase™ is a web based system which supports a variety of features that simplify your day to day document management and save you time.
Some of these features:
- Search by Date of Service, Date of Dictation, Partial patient name, etc.
- Download multiple documents at once as an archive.
- Print multiple documents with a single click.
- Set a status for one or more documents (Downloaded, Printed, Sent to Referring Physician, etc)
- Download individual documents for editing
All transcribed documents are stored in your Scriptase account for up to 5 years or until you cancel your account with us.

We support a variety of different setups to serve your specific requirements. A few setups utilized by our clients are outlined below.
Group Account: A single account for your entire group. All your physicians' documents are located and accessible from one place. This is our most popular option.
Individual Accounts: Each physician in your group gets his/her own Scriptase account.
Multiple Location Accounts: Ideal for organizations with multiple clinics/practices. Each physical location is provided with a Scriptase account. Documents are placed in the account specified at the time of dictation.
Billing is customized based on the type of setup. You can also choose to have a single bill for your organization.

Built in Letterheads
If you choose to, we will build in your letterheads into your documents at the time of setup of the account, so that every document when printed includes your letterhead. The characters in the letterheads do not go towards line counts making this feature free. You can have a single letterhead for the entire organization or customized letterheads for up to 20 dictating personnel.
Document Format Customizations
Physicians and dictating staff can define different formats for different kinds of reports. All you need to do is fax us a few samples. These formats will then be followed at the time of transcription. You can also choose to omit this setup and let us format the documents for you.
Dictation By Exception (Templates & Macros)
Physicians and dictating staff can setup Templates to enable Dictation By Exception, saving them considerable time and effort on a daily basis.
What is Dictation by Exception?
Dictation by exception is the process by which documents are based on templates and modifications are made in the appropriate areas to complete a document. These templates already contain all the normals and the person dictating just needs to dictate exceptions and changes to create a report.

We have taken several measures, in order to comply with HIPAA regulations and protect your data.
128 Bit Encryption
Scriptase our document delivery and management system utilizes 128 bit encryption to make all web connections. This standard also called 128 bit SSL is the same standard utilized for online banking and financial transactions.
What does 128 bit SSL mean?
SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer which is an Internet communication protocol. Simply put whenever you access your account with us, the data transmitted back and forth is encrypted in order to secure it.
Authentication for Dictation Lines and Scriptase accounts
There are two methods of authentication we use to safeguard documents and dictations.
1. Each Scriptase account with us is provided a unique Username and Password without which you cannot access the Scriptase system online.
2. Dictating staff are provided with individual access codes which are required in order to gain access to the dictation lines.
Policies
We have also implemented a number of administrative measures in our day to day work to ensure that no data concerning patients is disclosed to personnel who do not have permissions to view this information.

No term contract
You only pay for what is transcribed
Corrections are never charged.
Accurate & Transparent Billing
Billing is done only after a through audit of the line counts on your account and is accurate to the character. Line count reports (which provide a breakdown of charges to the number of characters for each document transcribed) are provided at any time on request.
No Term Contract
There are no fixed term contracts. Should you decide to stop using our service, it is only fair that you should be able to, at any time. We have never had term contracts since the inception of the company and still have one of the highest client retention rates in the industry.
The idea is fairly simple: "High Quality Service = Happy Clients who will stay with us"
Corrections are never charged
If there are any mistakes in documents, they are corrected free of charge within your configured turnaround time and most of the time within the hour.
